Quality Dental Care at Reasonable Fees

Financial & Insurance Information

At KK Dental, we realize dental patients sometimes have concerns about accessibility, cost, and pain, and we make every effort to provide you with not only the finest dental care but also the most convenient financial options.  To accomplish this, we provide convenient office hours, follow a strict pain management protocol, and offer easy payment plans through CapitalOne Healthcare Finance.  we work closely with you to maximize your insurance reimbursement for covered procedures.

We accept all major PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) insurance plans and discount plans, as well as some DMO (Dental Maintenance Organization) plans.  Please bring your insurance information with you to your appointment so that we can expedite reimbursement.  For your convenience, we also accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards.  Payment is due at the time service is rendered, and please remember that you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

Professional fees vary according to the procedure and type of tooth treated and are due at the time of treatment.  As a courtesy to you, we will submit the insurance paperwork for you.  Based upon information received from your insurance carrier, we will approximate the amount of your co-payment (the portion that is your responsibility).  We request that you pay your predetermined co-payment or patient portion at the time of service.  The exact amount of your co-payment cannot be determined until we receive payment from you insurance carrier.  If there is a difference between the estimated and actual co-payment, we will either issue a refund or notify you of any amount due.  Any remaining balance will be your responsibility.

Please be aware that dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company.  Questions concerning coverage, deductibles, co-payments or yearly maximums should be directed to your employer or insurance carrier.

Our goal in our dental practice is to provide the very highest quality dental treatment available at an exceptional value.  Unfortunately, insurance companies make money by paying only the very cheapest alternative, disregarding what is in the patient's best interest.  Very frequently, they will disregard what we diagnose, utilizing x-rays and a thorough clinical exam, just to decrease the benefit for use and increase the profit for them.  Usually, this results in numerous phone calls and letters by our insurance administrator just to try to get them to re-evaluate our recommendation and pay for what is needed.

It has been the policy of some other dental offices to accept the insurance companies recommended treatment, which is diagnosed without ever seeing the patient!  This compromises your care, and we refuse to compromise, in any way, the state-of-the-art, quality care that our patients deserve and receive through our diagnosis and treatment.

Remember, we are here for our patients and take it very seriously when we are asked to compromise treatment just so the insurance company can make more money.

We thank you for your cooperation and your continued support!
